Account Director, Client Leadership

The Account Director, Client Leadership, will lead in developing and executing small to large scale projects allowing the Isovera team to create exciting work. They serve as the strategic and tactical point of contact for clients regarding project planning, timeline, forecasting, organizing deliverables, budget management, relaying status, and driving client engagements forward. The Account Director will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally with all departments to complete projects on a timely basis and within budget. They report directly to the VP, Client Leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Serve as an account owner and project leader on multiple projects, owning both long-term, more significant engagements with various project tracks and teams and smaller, task-based engagements.
  2. Build and maintain strong client relationships and have a deep understanding of their core business, goals, challenges, and needs 
  3. Lead all active projects with clients end-to-end, including setting expectations, feedback, scopes, and timelines 
  4. Provide strategic leadership to ensure that final project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations
  5. Works with VP to provide strategies to address client needs, manage expectations, and resolve issues in a timely fashion
  6. Serves as Senior point of contact for the client and keeps a growth mindset to go beyond client expectations
  7. Utilize agile-based development methodologies. Function as scrum master and product owner for project teams. Provide hands-on assistance with strategy and QA as applicable
  8. Work with clients and internal team members to conceptualize new projects, define project scope and resources, and set expectations.
  9. Work with VP to allocate adequate project resources based on needed skills, timeline, and budget. Inform team members of their areas of responsibility for the project and any baseline expectations. Work with colleagues to schedule and optimize resource allocation within and across projects.
  10. Leads the communication of relevant project information to the internal team to ensure that the outcome addresses the client’s business requirements while demonstrating creativity and business logic, in addition to being on time and budget
  11. Possess a keen understanding of what the client business and  project entails and can keep a broader focus on how our efforts ladder to the overarching client goals
  12. Develop and maintain all project communication deliverables, including project estimates, budgets, project plans, risk/issues logs, project dashboards/management reports, change orders, etc
  13. Contribute to resource allocation on an ongoing, weekly basis, as well as monitor project burn rate and budget
  14. Set up and maintain all supporting tools related to the project scope
  15. Work with VP to ensure projects have a well-defined scope and stay within that scope. Secure change orders or out-of-scope requests. Monitor project budgets in a timely, careful, and consistent manner 
  16. Function as an advisor to clients, engendering trust and bringing added value to the client relationship.
  17. Flag to the VP any new business opportunities based on client interaction and ongoing project engagement, with the goal of initiating these new business opportunities independently
  18. Monitor project status and proactively identify problems both before and as they arise. Mitigate and provide creative solutions as issues and risks appear on assigned accounts. Leverage VP for support 
  19. Report weekly to agency leadership on client health- monitoring project risk factors in consultation with the integrated leadership team
  20. Promote a high degree of professionalism with project teams
  21. Continuously learn about technologies that relate to Isovera’s practice.

Requirements

  • 10+  years of digital project management/account services experience
  • PMP and scrum master certification preferred but not required
  • MUST have experience in the digital landscape
  • Website management experience is a plus
  • Experience in an agency setting as a Account Supervisor, or Account Director, Group Account Director 
  • The ability to anticipate needs works well under pressure 
  • Excellent Project Manager, particularly in highly technical digital projects 
  • Communicates clearly, leads conversations, and functions well in a team environment  
  • A highly organized, detail-oriented multitasker 
  • Can communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Keen writing skills. 
  • Gives and receives constructive feedback
  • Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with colleagues
  • Champions ideas, application recommendations, and team involvement
